We are a partner on the European project 6DEPLOY-II, whose goal is to support the deployment of IPv6 across different sectors. IPv6 technology, also called ‘next generation internet’, is one of the areas in which we’ve been active for many years. We have developed our national research and education network, RCTS, to support all internet services on both technologies – IPv4 and IPv6. By using our network to showcase the potential of IPv6 technology, we hope to help Portugal prepare for the ‘next generation internet’.
