In the days July 15 and 16, 2026Lisbon hosts the Science and Innovation Meeting 2026, an initiative that will bring together the scientific community, the business sector and European partners to discuss the future of research and innovation in Portugal.
The event will be a key moment for reflection on the strategic priorities of the new Agency for Research and Innovation (AI²), which will guide the development of the national science and innovation ecosystem in the coming decades.
Over two days, researchers, higher education institutions, companies, decision-makers, and representatives from national and international organizations will be invited to participate in a space for discussion and joint creation, promoting dialogue between different sectors linked to science, technology, and innovation.
The Science and Innovation Meeting 2026 also serves as a complement to the ongoing participatory process, allowing the community to contribute to defining AI²'s strategic priorities through the participatory platform provided for this purpose: AI² Participates.
