The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), through its digital services unit FCCN, provides the POLEN Blueprint, the latest service from the Research Data Management program POLLEN, which It aims to support the creation, review, and validation of Data Management Plans (DMPs) in a single, interactive, and flexible space..
This new service responds to best practices of Open Science and to FAIR principles, also supporting compliance with the requirements defined by the funders. The POLEN Blueprint It allows researchers and institutions to define clear strategies for the organization, preservation, and sharing of data throughout the entire research lifecycle.
A collaborative platform to support Data Management Plans.
Implemented in partnership with OpenAIRE, the CITE and the University of Minho, the POLEN Blueprint It starts with a General Area, accessible to any researcher, where it is possible to create, edit and download a Data Management Plan according to the models of the main national and international funders.
The service also provides Institutional Areas, which allow participating institutions to develop their own PGD models, as well as manage users and internal workflows.
Currently, the POLEN Blueprint It already has two Institutional areas in pilot phaseassociated with INESC TEC and to University of AveiroThis phase will allow us to test the service, validate the implemented processes, and gather feedback for its continuous improvement.
