FCCN, the digital services unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), is once again opening its doors to the educational community with the holding of FCCN Open Week 2026The initiative takes place between February 23 and 27 and accommodates approximately 250 students from secondary, vocational and higher education

Throughout the week, young people from areas such as Communication, Information Technology, Multimedia and Digital Technologies They have the opportunity to learn firsthand about FCCN's activities and the digital services it supports for the national academic and scientific community. 

The program includes guided tours of different spacesincluding FCCN Studio, as well as Interactive sessions that showcase projects, infrastructure, and technological solutions. Developed and operated by the FCT's digital services unit. These activities allow participants To explore the potential of digital technologies and understand their impact. in higher education, research and innovation in Portugal. 

To introduce the technology sector to new generations. 

The main objective of Open Week remains the same: To introduce the technology sector, present different career paths, and stimulate young people's interest in fields related to technology and science. Simultaneously, the initiative contributes to promote digital services from FCT, developed by FCCN, together with potential future students, researchers and professionals in the sector.
