Attention to the scientific publishing community: ends next Friday, February 20th, at 11:59 PM, the deadline for submitting proposals for flash talks and posters for the 3rd PUB IN Meeting: Journals and scientific communication for Open Science.
The meeting takes place on April 16 and 17, 2026, in School of Nursing of the University of Coimbra – Campus A, and constitutes a space dedicated to sharing projects, experiences and best practices in scientific communication within an Open Science framework.
In this edition, in addition to the traditional ones flash talks — Short, dynamic 7-minute presentations with up to 24 slides —The possibility of presenting [something] is introduced. posters, offering a visual format to give visibility to ongoing projects, tools and initiatives.
Those who have not yet submitted their proposal now have the opportunity. the last opportunity to do it through platform I recommend from FCCN, until the end of the day February 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
The accepted proposals will be announced later in the event program, and notifications to the proponents are scheduled for [date/time]. March 6, 2026.
The 3rd PUB IN Meeting is organized by Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), through its digital services unit FCCN, in partnership with University of Minho, and integrates workshopssessions of flash talks, posters and thematic panels, bringing together the publishing community for debate, reflection and the development of best practices in scientific publishing.
