VIDEO CONFERENCING NETWORK

The video conferencing network is a technical and human infrastructure that provides services to the users and managers of video conferencing rooms of entities connected to RCTS.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Advice – technical support for the purchase and operation of videoconferencing equipment in various usage scenarios.

Scheduling – scheduling system for videoconferencing rooms, in which in-room managers can pre-schedule remote rooms and share connection data.

Registration and addressing – integrated with the GDS (Global Dialling Scheme), the registration service via Gatekeeper H.323 is key for registering and enabling the addressing of the terminal to and from remote locations.

Virtual MCU – multi-point virtual service that allows two or more locations to participate in the same session. This service is part of the video conferencing component of the COLIBRI service.
