The sixth edition of the Research Data Management Forum (GDI Forum) will be held remotely on 30 June and 1 July, bringing together the community of professionals and researchers involved in research data management. Registration closes on 25 June.  

The 6th Research Data Management Forum (GDI Forum) will take place on 30th June and 1st July. The organization states that this will be an edition completely dedicated to the National Roadmap Infrastructures, highlighting that, due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, the event will be held online.                                                                       

The goal of these two days of work is to bring together and energize the community of professionals and researchersinvolved in activities to support the management of research data. In this way, it will be possible to develop technical skills and capitalize knowledge, through the sharing of experiences and best practices.  

 The specific focus on the infrastructures of the National Roadmap is also present in the sharing of the results of a survey conducted, addressed to the managers of the Roadmap infrastructures, with the aim of gathering information on the respective data and service management initiatives.  

Likewise, the GDI Forum offers the possibility to learn more about important initiatives in the area of research data management - such as theEuropean Open Science Cloud (EOSC), FAIR, OpenAIRE or RDA-en.  

 This event is organized by the National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN) of the Foundation for Science and Technology, in conjunction with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education and the University of Minho.
