CSIRT Network reaches 31 members

The National CSIRT Network held its 25th General Assembly, last 25, September, in Carnaxide, at the Claranet building.

This was one of the most attended General Assemblie ever, with the entry of three new members: Cybersafe, University of Minho and University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro.

The entry of these three entities in the network raises the number of members to 31 and strengthens the participation of universities in this forum.

At this General Assembly, the presentation of the DNS.PT Association as part of the key change process that signs the root zone of the global DNS is highlighted, and the representatives of the Network were elected by the Superior Council for Cyberspace Security (CSSC). It should also be noted that 32 proposals for amendments to the Network Terms of Reference were voted, which is the document governing the operation of this Network.
