THE Arquivo.pt, digital service of Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), developed through FCCN, was one of the winners of the Navegantes XXI Awards.
Travel through time, through research and access to pages of web archived since 1996, and which are no longer available. This is the motto of Arquivo.pt, which, among all the projects competing in the 20 categories of the Navegantes XXI Awards, was one of the recognized in this edition.
The FCT's digital service won the award in the “Best Central Public Administration Project” category, standing out among the various Projects/Websites/Apps that were launched, were functional or available in Portugal, between June 2023 and June 2024. This category recognizes, annually, a project that has contributed “unequivocally to the development of the Central Public sector through the digital medium, as well as the Digital Economy in Portugal”, as stated on the initiative's website.
Professor Francisco Santos, vice-president of the FCT, Salomé Branco, Deputy General Coordinator of FCCN, FCT digital services, and Daniel Gomes, manager of this FCT digital service, were present at the awards ceremony, which took place on October 24th at the Técnico Innovation Center in Lisbon. The heads of FCCN, FCT's digital services, took the stage to accept the award and reflect on this recognition.
