THE FCT released thethe final results of the Expression of Interest for the creation of Centers for Research Data Management (GDI). This process corresponds to a investment of about 3 million euros.
The project of creation of the Centers for GDI is inserted in the National Open Science and Open Research Data Program (PNCADAI), a measure of investment RE-C05-i08 – More Digital Science financed by Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
In total, 14 proposals were selected for the creation of institutional and thematic centers that will integrate the support network for the management and opening of research data in Portugal, contributing to the community of users internal to the institutions and promoting the principles of FAIR Data.
During the evaluation process, the jury panel highlighted the high quality of the proposals presented, as well as the initiative to establish and promote a National Network for Research Data Management.
