About RCAAP
RCAAP plays an important role in promoting the adoption of the movement of open access to scientific knowledge in Portugal and to increase the visibility of the results of Portuguese academic and scientific activity.
This role is materialized through numerous services, in particular the RCAAP portal and the Institutional Repository Hosting Service – SARI.
Through the RCAAP portal, you can access thousands of scientific journal articles, communications, theses, and dissertations, among other types, which are dispersed across numerous Portuguese repositories and scientific journals from national higher education institutions and other Research & Development organizations. SARI is available on a SaaS freeing institutions from the burden of managing a service of this nature and allowing them to focus on managing the scientific information produced within their institution.
Terms of Use
RCAAP is open to the participation of all institutions in the Portuguese scientific and higher education system.
The institutions currently participating in the RCAAP project, as well as their respective repositories, can be consulted through Portal directory.
