O PUB IN Meeting - journals and scientific communication for open science - will take place on June 19 in Lisbon. This is an event organized by the Foundation for Science and Technology, through the FCCN unit, and by the University of Minho.

This 1st PUB IN Meeting aims to bring together the national publishing community in order to develop technical skills, capitalize on knowledge and promote the sharing of good practices in the field of open science.

The initiative is part of the PUB IN support activities, a national initiative to promote smart, innovative and integrated publications.

Workshops and flash talks are highlights of the initiative

To be held at LNEC - National Civil Engineering Laboratory, the program includes technical workshops and flash talks to demonstrate and present experiences. The day will also feature a panel discussion on emerging issues.

In this way, it aims to be a space that brings together editorial teams with a view to building their capacity. Open debate and the sharing of ideas, emerging initiatives and projects related to scientific and academic publishing will also be part of the meeting.
