In the parallel session of the event that will be held in the Salão Nobre, the area director of FCCN João Gomes will present two digital services of FCT, made available through FCCN: Arquivo.pt, a platform that preserves Portuguese websites, and NAU, a service of e-learning and training online.

NAU and Arquivo.pt with initiatives celebrating April
In addition to their presentation at the commemorative session, the two FCCN projects celebrate April with other news.
Thus, the 2025 edition of the Arquivo.pt Award, which annually rewards innovative work carried out based on historical information preserved by Arquivo.pt, will continue these celebrations. The inclusion of the special mention "April 25th and Democracy" will recognize works focused on this milestone. More information about this special mention will be released in early May.
Already the NAU proposed to house a course on the Carnation Revolution, which is planned to be developed with the Mission Structure for the Commemorations, together with partner entities, by the end of this year.
Through these and other activities, carried out in partnership with Commemorative Commission 50 years of April 25th, the Foundation for Science and Technology makes its contribution to mark this important milestone in the history of Portugal, namely, the role of science, technology and innovation in all areas of knowledge in the consolidation of democracy in the country.
