THE 8th Research Data Management Forum takes place in the next few days November 25th and 26th.
With 7 editions already held, between 2016 and 2020, co-organized by RCAAP, the FCT and the University of Minho, the GDI Forum is bringing together and energizing the community of professionals and researchers involved in activities supporting research data management with the aim of developing technical skills and capitalizing on knowledge and practices.
It's a training and debate space for sharing ideas, emerging initiatives, projects and good practices to support research data management which seeks to bring together managers of digital repositories and data centers, information technicians, libraries, archives and data curation, IT specialists, researchers, data scientists and science managers from research institutions and science funding bodies.
This 8th GDI Forum, in person – at the University of Coimbra – follows the model of previous editions, with a program that will extend between 11:00 am on November 25th and 4:30 pm on November 26thThe program includes two workshops, a session dedicated to demonstrating and presenting projects and best practices in a flash talk session, and a panel discussion on emerging topics resulting from the evaluation of the satisfaction survey from the previous Forum.
