Dissemination actions aim to clarify doubts about the use of the platform, detailing the steps for the creation of the Curriculum Ciência Vitae.

In 2019, four higher education institutions have already hosted these dissemination actions: Universidade de Aveiro, Universidade de Coimbra, Instituto Superior Técnico and Faculdade de Ciências de Lisboa. By the end of March, Minho University (28 February), Porto University (1 March) and Évora University will be the next stops on this information roadshow.

The Ciência Vitae dissemination actions include a presentation session of the platform and a face-to-face workshop which aims to clarify all potential doubts involved in the creation and management of the scientific curriculum. So far, approximately 300 researchers, teachers and doctoral candidates have participated in 11 information sessions.

Higher education institutions and research centres can schedule a dissemination action for their community. To do so, simply make the request through the Ciência Vitae platform. In addition to this face-to-face action, the Ciência Vitae team also promotes webinars open to all interested parties, which include a moment of questions and answers with the participants.

It should be remembered that Ciência Vitae - the National Curricular Management System for Science - is the first service that follows the PTCRIS standards. The platform is already being used in the context of the calls of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and, by the end of the year, it will become the only curricular management system.
