The new training, promoted by INA and hosted on the Public Administration's Distance Learning and Training platform for Large Audiences, aims to "contribute to the understanding of the importance of personal data protection" as well as the rights of every citizen. The course begins on November 25th, and enrollment is now open.
Do you know who has access to your data and whether it's protected? Do you know what it's used for? These are some of the starting questions for the new training course from INA – General Directorate for the Qualification of Public Service Workers, hosted on the NAU Platform.
With an estimated duration of 3 hours, the course will allow anyone interested to better understand the GDPR and its importance. Registration is free. This training is available online 24/7 from November 25th to May 25th, 2020.
Learning is carried out in a dynamic and interactive way, counting on teaching materials such as interactive videos, quizzes or manuals. Completing the course allows you to download a digital certificate.

The NAU platform
Launched in April 2019, NAU is the national initiative to operate a technical and operational infrastructure to support the publication and promotion of content in MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) format. Transversal across several ministries, NAU allows develop training actions for a greater number of employees and citizens, with greater quality, greater frequency and lower costs.
The project's funding comes from the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and the Community Operational Programme COMPETE 2020, under the Portugal 2020 Framework. The platform is an integral part of the National Initiative for Digital Skills (INCoDe2030 https://www.incode2030.gov.pt)
The NAU platform is based on open-source software managed by Open edX, whose main mission is to promote massive open online courses used by universities worldwide, with 14 million registered students. Open edX was founded by Harvard University and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in 2012.
