The launch session of the Public Administration Distance Learning and Training platform for Large Audiences is scheduled for April 3, during Futurália.
It will be during the Futuralia – the Education, Training and Educational Guidance Fair – which NAU Platform will be officially launched. The ceremony will take place at Espaço Alerta at 11:00 a.m. and will feature speeches by the Secretary of State for Science, Technology, and Higher Education, João Sobrinho Teixeira, and the Secretary of State for Health, Raquel Duarte.
The event will also serve as an opportunity to review the platform's first three months of operation. To date, NAU has approximately 10,000 registered trainees and ten participating institutions, providing MOOC training (Massive Open Online Courses).
Across several ministries, this platform will allow "training initiatives to be developed for a greater number of employees and citizens," ensuring "higher quality, greater frequency, and lower costs," the project description reads.
