The fifth edition of the award that recognizes useful applications from Arquivo.pt has applications open until May 4, 2022
The Arquivo.pt Prize returns in 2022 to recognize original and innovative works that demonstrate the usefulness of the Arquivo.pt service and the importance of preserving and utilizing information published on the web. A total of 15,000 euros in prizes are up for grabs.
The works that are applied for must have the Arquivo.pt as the primary source of information, including practical applications or complete research studies based on the information preserved by this FCCN Unit service. The papers may cover topics in any field (e.g., Education, History, Sociology, Communication, Health, or IT).
The competition is open to all interested parties, both individually and in groups. Applications are open until May 4th, at 1:00 p.m. (Lisbon time). regulation, notice and application form are now available online.
Applications will be evaluated by a jury comprised of individuals of recognized merit in the fields covered by the competition. The top three winners will receive €10,000, €3,000, and €2,000, respectively. An honorable mention will also be awarded, which includes a free two-year subscription to Jornal Público – the official media partner of the 2022 Arquivo.pt Prize.
