This initiative was created in 2023 by the RCTS CERT team, a digital service of the Foundation for Science and Technology, developed through FCCN, which responds to computer security incidents within the RCTS network.  

The “Tell me your password” was created with the premise of disseminating information that allows any citizen to understand “how to protect themselves and the data they share”, said the person in charge at the time of its launch.  

"The initial plan was to publish six episodes; reaching twelve was a significant milestone and an achievement for our podcast. Crucial topics in the field of cybersecurity were covered, and we hope "Tell Me Your Password" continues to grow its audience. We want our podcast to reach more and more people and address topics that are important to our listeners," he explains. Filipa Macieira, member of RCTS CERT.  

The guests of the first 12 episodes

Each episode featured a guest who, in conversation with a member of RCTS CERT, shared their experience and discussed various topics within the field of cybersecurity. They also learned about the latest trends, threats, and best practices in cybersecurity

Luís Morais, Chief Information Security Officer from Galp was the first guest, followed by Carlos Friaças, manager of RCTS CERT and by Gonçalo Silva, Cyber Security Analyst, from the National Cybersecurity Center.  

Nuno Gonçalves, team manager in the ICT Corporate Services area, was present in the 4th episode, and in the fifth program, Jéssica Domingues, coordinator of the Cybersecurity unit of the Ministry of Health's Shared Services, joined the initiative.  

Pedro Boavida, member of the executive committee of the National Network of CSIRTs – Computer Security Incident Response Team, was the guest of the sixth moment, followed by Marcelo Carvalheira, from Fortinet, the last guest of 2023.  

2024 started with a special New Year and February had Luis Martins, Vice President and General Manager of Cipher in Portugal, for a conversation. José Casinha, Cyber Security Advisor and Fractional Chief Information Security Officer, also accepted the invitation to be a guest in the tenth episode.  

Finally, Ophelia Malheiros, Security Advisor from Securnet and Daniel Marques, Founder and CEO of XCUDO, completed the range of guests for the first twelve episodes.

In the first week of each month, a new episode of the podcast will continue to be released, which will feature a special guest.
