The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), through its digital services unit FCCNlaunches the SciPROJ Portala resource integrated into the PTCRIS program, which brings together all the information on scientific funding in one place, with quick and flexible access.
O SciPROJ is a register that aggregates detailed information on national and international funding that supports science and technology activities in Portugal.
Through the SciPROJ PortalPortal, researchers, institutions and the general public can obtain a unified and complete overview of science and technology funding in Portugal, including data such as amounts, researchers and institutions involved. In addition, the SciPROJ API API provides programmatic access to SciPROJdata, providing access to a wide range of detailed data on funding, projects, researchers and organizations.
By aggregating data from multiple sources on science and technology, these platforms offer a comprehensive view of the investment made and the players involved, fostering transparency and collaboration in the national scientific ecosystem.
With automatic updates and continuous enrichment, the data is standardized and integrated, guaranteeing consistency and reliability for detailed analysis and monitoring of scientific funding in Portugal.
To date, the Portal already includes more than 108,000 records and information from five funders and 19 different types of funding instruments. This is a PTCRIS service co-financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
