Training celebrates World Digital Preservation Day (#WDPD2019), on November 7th.
As in 2017 and 2018, Arquivo.pt once again joins the celebrations of this global day, which takes place on the first Thursday of November. Organized by the DPC (Digital Preservation Coalition), World Digital Preservation Day aims to "celebrate the work done by the community" and promote digital preservation.
THE training organized by Arquivo.pt It takes place in the Small Auditorium at the FCT-FCCN facilities. The goal is to maximize user productivity in using the service and to share best practices for web preservation.
The main target audience for this workshop, according to Arquivo.pt, are information professionals (such as librarians, archivists and documentalists), website managers (professionals from communication and image offices, for example), web content authors (such as bloggers) and teachers, students and researchers interested in historical research on information from the web and digital preservation.
