In October 2022, the 13th edition of ConfOA will be held at Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo, Mozambique. The call for papers is open until 4 April.

It will be with a focus on the theme "Open Science: Diversity, Inclusion and Sustainability" that the 13th edition of CONFOA travels to Maputo, Mozambique, from 10 to 12 October 2022. The location of the event is also linked to its new name - previously a Luso-Brazilian conference, ConfOA is now the Lusophone Conference on Open Science. The change consecrates "the widening of its scope as a space where Open Science is thought and discussed in Portuguese", explains the organization, on the event's website.

As in previous editions, the goal is to bring together the communities that develop research activities, development and management of services and definition of policies related to Open Science. Thus, this meeting aims to share, discuss and disseminate knowledge, practices and research on these issues.

The call for papers is open since 13 January 2022, and it is possible to submit applications to conduct papers (15-minute oral presentation), demos, pecha kuchas (presentation with a maximum of 7 minutes and 24 slides), panels and posters, as well as workshops and tutorials. The submission of papers is carried out in http://conferencias.rcaap.pt/

According to the already revealed programme of this 13th edition, themes such as " Open Access and Open Research Datasystems, policies and practices", "open knowledge expressions" or "Science and Technology Information Management" will be in focus.
