The official opening ceremony for applications will take place on March 13th at the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic.

This launch of the 2019 edition of the Arquivo.pt Award will be attended by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

With free entry (limited to the capacity of the space), the event program includes a “Journey through Time with the Presidents of the Republic”, as well as guided tours of the museum and the exhibition about Arquivo.pt.

During the ceremony, the Arquivo.pt 2019 Award will be presented – which aims to recognize innovative and/or useful uses for society of the Portuguese web archive preserved on Arquivo.pt, with a total of 15 thousand euros in prizes.

Please note that applications are open until May 3rd, and must include a job description (up to 2,000 words) and a short video (maximum three minutes long).
