ConfOA will take place in Braga, at the University of Minho from October 13th to 15th.

Continuing the success of previous editions and maintaining the partnership since 2010, the event is organized by the Documentation and Libraries Service of the University of Minho (USDB), by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT). The 12th ConfOA will take place in Braga, at the University of Minho from October 13th to 15th.

ConfOA aims to bring together the Portuguese, Brazilian, and other Portuguese-speaking communities involved in research, development, service management, and policymaking related to Open Science in all its aspects, particularly Open Access to Scientific Information and Research Data. ConfOA is a unique forum for promoting the sharing, discussion, and dissemination of knowledge, practices, and research on these topics, in all their dimensions and perspectives.
