European students can apply for EUMaster4HPC, the first pan-European Master's degree in High Performance Computing (HPC). Funded by EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, the Master's program will train the next generation of HPC specialists in Europe and provide students with excellent career prospects in the rapidly expanding field of HPC.
The EUMaster4HPC consortium has launched another competition to recruit students to pursue a master's degree in supercomputing and computer science, particularly in High Performance Computing (HPC) and its industrial applications.
The range of knowledge to be acquired is as diverse as imaginable: mathematical modeling, statistics, parallel programming and architecture, artificial intelligence, data analysis, distributed systems, processor design and HPC architecture, and cloud design and implementation. And the list of potential skills to be acquired is far from complete!
There are, however, certain requirements that must be met for students to be considered. In addition to a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications in computer science, mathematics, or a relevant scientific or technical field, applicants also need prior programming knowledge, various aspects of technical mathematics (algebra, statistics, probability, among others), and a high level of spoken and written English. Finally, they must also be available to complete the second year of the program at one of the eight universities in different European cities that partner with EUMaster4HPC.
Applications for the various master's degrees under the EUMaster4HPC program (with the second year at a European university) are now open. To apply, students must submit a series of documents and complete a specific form.
All additional information – available courses, study programs, universities and registration itself – can be consulted on the program's website.
