Project Manager
Zelo is a platform that allows for the fully autonomous management, monitoring, and implementation of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) processes . This platform is the result of a partnership between the General Secretariat for Education and Science, the Foundation for Science and Technology (IP), and the Public Construction (EPE).
The General Data Protection Regulation contributes to good practices and information security solutions and is an important instrument for ensuring the quality of services provided by organizations and has determined new internal regulation, auditing and compliance policies .
The GDPR imposes new responsibilities on data controllers, both professional and personal, as well as civil and criminal, and requires the evaluation and reorganization of all processes within an organization, whether public or private, as a management tool that applies across all institutions.
Who is it intended for?
All government agencies in the areas of Education and Science, Technology, and Higher Education can join Zelo. Membership may be extended to any government agency through an extension of the protocol.
About Zelo
The Zelo digital service allows you to:
- Record and detail processes;
- Assess the impact on data protection;
- Register requests for the exercise of rights;
- Register and notify data breaches.
Additionally, Zelo provides security manual templates and GDPR forms, a support service (helpdesk), the Data Protection and Security Code of Conduct, Privacy and Personal Data Security Policies, as well as updated information on Legislation, Links, Glossary and Frequently Asked Questions.
In the organization, Zelo:
- Ensures compliance with the principles and purposes in the processing of personal data;
- Ensures accurate and up-to-date processing of personal data;
- Ensures the security of personal data processing.
To the Data Controller, Zelo:
- Ensures security in the application of the GDPR;
- It provides security in assuming your responsibilities.
