The digital service of the Foundation for Science and Technology, developed by FCCN, won the award in the “Promotion of a more Innovative and Digital Society”.  

Promoted by the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Information Society (APDSI) and supported by Oracle, this initiative recognizes and disseminates best practices in the adoption and implementation of information and communication technologies, with a view to a more digital society supported by more efficient public and private institutions that are closer to the citizen. 

3 categories, 3 big winners

In this 4th edition of the Digital Transformation Award, the best projects were awarded in three different categories: “Effectiveness/Efficiency of Organizations”, “Proximity to the Citizen and More Inclusive Society” and “Promotion of a More Innovative and Digital Society”.  

THE Arquivo.pt was the winner of the last category of the competition, which also had as finalists the Balcão e-Clic, a project by the Institute of Informatics, and the Regional Cadastral Information System, an initiative developed by the Regional Directorate of Territorial Planning.  

The Foundation for Science and Technology's service allows everyone to “Travel in time” through research and access to pages of the web archived since 1996, and which are no longer available. 

The awards ceremony took place on December 3rd, today, at 3:30 pm, at Oracle's facilities, in Lagoas Park.
