THE PTCRIS program, from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and developed by FCCN, is highlighted with the Best Pecha Kucha award — a short, dynamic, visual presentation — of the 16th Lusophone Open Science Conference (ConfOA 2025), held in Goiânia, Brazil.
The work “Organizational Identifiers in the Portuguese Scientific Ecosystem: The Transition from ISNI+ to ROR”, directed by Talissa Harb Anger, Cátia Laranjeira, Pedro Leitão Lopes, João Mendes Moreira, from the PTCRIS team, was presented by one of the co-authors, Sara Melo Dias, on the second day of the event.

The presentation highlighted the process of adopting ROR organizational identifiers (Research Organization Registry) in Portugal. This transition aims to align the identification of national affiliations with global Open Science standards, ensuring greater interoperability and accuracy in the association between scientific production and institutions.
This recognition highlights the relevance of the work developed by PTCRIS in the promotion and implementation of robust persistent identifiers, crucial for the national investigation infrastructure.
