The cities of Lisbon and Guimarães will host two events during the month of April. workshops In-person sessions dedicated to the theme "Digital Transformation in Healthcare with AI," an initiative that aims to demonstrate the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare sector.
The sessions will take place on two separate dates. The first one will be in Lisbon, on the day... April 23, and subsequently to April 30th, in Guimarães, and as part of a capacity-building strategy that focuses on geographical decentralization and broader access to knowledge.
With an interactive and practical format, the workshops These sessions aim to bring professionals, researchers, and stakeholders closer to the latest applications of AI in healthcare. Throughout the sessions, participants will be able to explore real-world use cases of these technologies, understand the challenges associated with ethics, privacy, and anonymization of clinical data, and participate in guided hands-on activities.
One of the highlights is the component hands-on, where techniques will be applied of Machine Learning and generative Artificial Intelligence in concrete scenarios, allowing participants to acquire skills directly applicable to the professional context.
Furthermore, the events encourage participants to prepare in advance, including the use of advanced computing infrastructure such as the Deucalion supercomputer, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, reinforcing the link between training, technology and innovation.
