This webinar will be attended by Nuno Coelho, Judge Counselor at the Court of Auditors and General Coordinator of the Justice Reform Agenda, Petra Fernandes, Lawyer and Partner at BMA, and Antonio Novais, Founder's Associate of startup Portuguese Affine, who will individually present important topics that deserve everyone's reflection. The session will be moderated by Andreia Brito, Legal Manager at .PT and Secretary of the Board of the General Assembly of LusNIC.
The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Justice and its Challenges
The webinar begins with a presentation by Nuno Coelho, where on the panel "The Judge in the Circuit – What AI experts need to know about justice" will reflect on the challenges and potential of artificial intelligence node judicial context, through a relational approach between technology and human decision-making.
Right away, Petra Fernandes will address the topic "AI Responsibility Gaps"within the scope of “AI Accountability Dialogue Series", which will focus on the accountability challenges associated with the use of AI, with particular attention to the European framework, including the AI Act and the CETS 225 Convention."
