THE International HPC Summer School 2025 will bring together participants from around the world in Lisbon from July 6 to 11, 2025, and the FCT, through its digital services unit FCCN, is hosting the event, which is being held for the first time in Portugal. registrations are open until January 31, 2025.
All graduate students and postdoctoral scholars that belong to institutions of the Australia, Canada, Europe (countries belonging to the European Union), United States of America (USA) and Japan are invited to apply for the 15th edition of International HPC Summer School.
This event aims to familiarize computer science students with the main aspects of HPC (High Performance Computing) and big data analytics for a variety of scientific disciplines, as well as catalyzing networking, providing advanced mentoring, and facilitating international exchanges that open doors to new career options.
The trainings are conducted by leading experts in Advanced Computing, coming from the partner regions in the organization, which will give inputs on a wide variety of topics.
THE HPC Summer School is sponsored by EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) through the project HPC SPECTRA in the Europe, for the Pawsey Supercomputing Research Center (Pawsey) in the Australia, for the Digital Research Alliance of Canada (DRAC), for the RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS) no Japan, for the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign and by University of Texas in Austin us USA. These institutions are joined by organizations from the South Africa (NICIS CHPC and NITheCS) and the United Kingdom (EPCC), who conduct their selection processes.
