In October 2022, the 13th edition of ConfOA will be held at Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo, Mozambique. The call for papers is open until April 4th.
Focusing on the theme "Open Science: Diversity, Inclusion, and Sustainability," the 13th edition of CONFOA will travel to Maputo, Mozambique, from October 10 to 12, 2022. The event's location is also linked to its new name – previously a Portuguese-Brazilian conference, ConfOA is now the Lusophone Open Science Conference. The change consecrates "the expansion of its scope as a space where Open Science is thought of and discussed in Portuguese," the organizers explain on the event's website.
As in previous editions, the goal is to bring together communities involved in research, development, service management, and policymaking related to Open Science. Therefore, this meeting aims to share, discuss, and disseminate knowledge, practices, and research on these topics.
The call for papers has been open since January 13, 2022, and applications can be submitted to make communications (15-minute oral presentation), demos, pecha kuchas (presentation with a maximum of 7 minutes and 24 slides), panels and posters, as well as workshops and tutorials.
