THE Dataverse Community Meeting 2023 (#Dataverse2023, #GDI, #RepositoriosDados) will take place in Braga, in University of Minho, between the days June 5th to 7th

THE theme this year is dedicated to Data Sharing for Future Generations: Sustainability, Trust, and Community Building

Open infrastructures, research data management services and tools, and standards are needed to open data sustainably. Open access data provision has grown, and adequate repository services must be ensured to enable appropriate future data reuse. When datasets are made available, there is enormous untapped potential that will be of invaluable relevance to future generations. Interconnecting shared data and data repository networks will enable faster discovery and accessibility, which can have an impact on disaster risk reduction. With this theme, the 2023 Dataverse meeting emphasizes the sustainability of services and infrastructures, reflecting on their impact on data quality (FAIR and open) as a contribution to in-depth research on disaster response.
