The Minho Advanced Computing Center (MACC) is holding this year's edition of the MUG: MACC User Group Workshop, which will take place on July 7th and 8th at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Porto.
MACC is a member of the National Network for Advanced Computing, which aims to support the academic and business communities in the area of High Performance Computing (HPC).
The main goal is to guarantee the community's access to computing resources, thus promoting innovation in all areas of science and business and enabling scientific breakthroughs or new products.
In this sense, MACC will promote another edition of MUG, a discussion forum for all potential users on issues related to HPC in Portugal and in Europe.
More specifically, this event aims to foster a collaborative environment among different stakeholders, promoting the adoption of advanced computing techniques and the creation of synergies with the operational team to better serve the scientific community.
