Launch session of the Public Administration Distance Learning and Training platform for Large Audiences is scheduled for 3 April, during Futurália.

The NAU Platform will be officially launched during Futurália - the Education, Training and Educational Guidance Fair. The ceremony will take place at the Espaço Alerta, at 11am, and will be attended by the Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education, João Sobrinho Teixeira, and the Secretary of State for Health, Raquel Duarte.

The moment will also serve to take stock of the first three months of operation of the platform. To date, the NAU has about 10 thousand registered trainees and ten member institutions, as promoters of training in MOOC format(Massive Open Online Courses).

Transversal to various ministries, this platform will "develop training actions for a greater number of employees and citizens", ensuring "higher quality, greater frequency and lower costs", according to the project description.
