The Scientific Computing Unit and AWS – Amazon Web Services are hosting two Cloud workshops.

Under the GÉANT IaaS Framework Agreement for Cloud, two workshops will be held hands-on for cloud training in the education and science sector.

The full-day workshops, which will take place in Lisbon and Porto on November 5th and 19th, respectively, will feature experts from AWS – Amazon Web Services.

In addition to addressing the Cloud GÉANT IaaS program (https://clouds.geant.org/), the agenda will focus on topics related to global Cloud fundamentals and infrastructures, storage, security and networking issues, as well as views on HPC computing, Data Architectures, analytics, between others.

As a requirement, participants will only need to bring their laptops.
