Archiving the Web: Do It Yourself!

Ricardo Basílio and Rita Cêpa explain how websites and webpages about artists, art galleries, and art festivals were identified. They then demonstrate, through practical examples, how anyone can save their website in a standardized format using readily available tools, preserving it for the future.

Daniel Gomes (Archive.pt Manager)
He founded and leads the Arquivo.pt service at the FCT-FCCN. He has been a researcher in web-based information systems since 2001. His main interests are digital preservation, usability, and web-based information systems.
Ricardo Basílio (Digital curator at Arquivo.pt)
Digital curator at Arquivo.pt within the ROSSIO Infrastructure, since September 2018. He holds a master's degree in Documentation and Information Sciences from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon.
Rita Cêpa (ROSSIO Infrastructure Scholarship Holder)
Master in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and author of the platform on contemporary art “Veni Vidi”.
