THE 5th edition of the Advanced Computing Meeting already has a date and place. It is on the days October 22nd and 23rd that the community of this area meets in Aveiro, in the building of the Rectory of University of Aveiro.
This is an initiative organized by FCCN, digital services of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), which brings together users, researchers, technicians and decision-makers with the aim of promote collaboration and skills development in the field of Advanced Computing, with greater emphasis on the access to national and European resources, the newly created Artificial Intelligence Factories (AI) and news from Quantum Computing.
The event also aims to be the meeting point between academia, industry, public administration and research centers for sharing knowledge and discussing the evolution of Advanced Computing in Portugal and Europe, the opportunities of National Center for Advanced Computing (CNCA) and the use and access to supercomputers Deucalion and MareNostrum 5.

The 2025 edition of the Meeting features the CNCA support, from the University of Aveiro and of EuroCC, financed by the European initiative EuroHPC. The CNCA is co-financed by National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
