On April 11th, the company's new logo was presented FCCN , revealing a rebranding that brings it closer to the image of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). With this renovation, the unit until now FCCN takes on the name: FCCN , FCT digital services.

This work by Meta Creative Agency, represented by Bruno Brás, reinforced the identity connection to FCT and the motto “Technology for knowledge”. The new image values the commitment of FCCN in providing and developing digital services that increase connectivity and knowledge between the academic and research community in Portugal. 

The objective was to reinforce the identity of the FCCN , transforming it into a stronger and more cohesive umbrella brand, which enhances synergy between its various digital services. All this, through a modern personality and a minimalist design.

The colors of the new identity – black and white – are inspired by the language of computing, based on a 0-1 binary code, which highlights, once again, an approach to FCCN 's work areas. The brand FCCN It also starts to work, in certain contexts, only with the “stamp” F , a strategy that enhances simple, impactful and immediate identification.  

Presentation of the new brand

The presentation to FCCN employees was made by the General Coordination of FCCN , João Nuno Ferreira and Salomé Branco, followed by the presentation of the agency that developed the new image, Meta Creative Agency.

The implementation of the rebranding is phased and applied to all digital platforms managed by FCCN . In the future, it will extend to the image of each digital service.
