From October 23 to 26, more than 150 secondary and vocational school students will visit the FCCN Unit. The aim of the Open Week FCCN is to give them an inside look at the technology sector, exploring spaces, resources and professions.

It was in 2019 that the first edition of Open Week took place FCCN. Since then, hundreds of secondary and vocational school students have visited FCCN. There they learned more about the activity and mission of this technological unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology, and about the projects and professions associated with its activity.

In 2023, the initiative is back and, from October 23 to 26, around 150 students from four educational institutions will have the opportunity to get to know resources such as the Studio or Datacenter FCCN, as well as explore areas and professions within their areas of training.

Through this initiative, the FCCN Unit is trying to provide students with more information about qualifications and career paths in the field of ICT (Information, Communication and Electronic Technologies). To this end, the program includes a time for students to interact with employees from FCCN, who will share their academic journey and transition to professional life.

To find out more about these activities, keep an eye on Unity's social networks FCCN, where some of the best moments will be shared. If your educational institution is interested in visiting in the future or finding out more about Unidade FCCN, please contact our team at c.imagem@fccn.pt
