THE GÉANT Innovation Program promotes and funds innovation and research projects within various topics within the GÉANT community. Applications are now open to the entire community connected to national research and education networks. Interested parties must submit their projects by February 14, 2024.
Projects should focus on areas such as multimedia, networks, education, cloud, security, privacy, eHealth, among others. In total, GÉANT has a budget of 300,000 euros to support the selected projects, with each project eligible for funding of up to 50,000 euros, with a maximum duration of six months.
Who can apply?
European national research and education networks—in Portugal's case, the FCCN—and all entities they serve (universities, research institutes, among others) are eligible for funding. Therefore, if you belong to the FCCN RCTS Community and have an innovative idea that you would like to see funded, share it with us.
Interested parties must apply by February 14, 2024. On the GÉANT website you will find all the information about the program, including a application guide and one timeline detailing the deadlines involved.
