The conference, which brings together hundreds of members of the GÉANT community, will take place between 16 and 20 June 2019, in Tallinn, Estonia.
After a record turnout in 2018 in Trondheim, “expectations are high” for an event that should “stimulate and inspire the community,” GÉANT highlights on its website.
The choice of Tallinn, they highlight, is due to the fact that it is “one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world”, offering a perfect location for this meeting of the various National Education and Research Networks (NRENs).
This year, the TNC's underlying theme is "shaping digital societies." The concept stems from the intersection of two ideas: supporting human interactions through computing networks and the innovative "e-residency" model practiced in Estonia.
Early bird registration is now officially open, with the deadline extending until February 28th. Applications for demonstrations, meetings, and the usual lightning talks are also open.
