Preserving the digital memory of contemporary Portuguese art through is one of the main goals of the "Forever" project, an initiative launched jointly by this service of the FCCN Unit, which preserves information published on the web, and the Arts and Archives Library of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.  

To achieve this goal, the project includes a cycle of webinars that promote knowledge on this theme. The first of these events took place on April 29th, and had as its main theme the preservation of digital memory and the role of The session focused in particular on what is a central theme of the project: the websites related to artists, galleries and other entities of the national panorama

The next sessions will be held in May (27th) and July (1st), continuing the project's objectives. As such, these two events will focus, respectively, on the good practices necessary for a website to be preservable and the techniques for recording a website in a standardised format, so that it is preserved for the future.
