The Minho Advanced Computing Center (MACC) is holding this year's edition of the MUG event: MACC User Group Workshop, which will take place on July 7th and 8th, at the Crowne Plaza hotel, in Porto.

MACC is a member of the National Advanced Computing Network, which aims to support the academic and business communities in the area of High Performance Computing (HPC).

The main objective is to guarantee the community's access to computing resources, thus promoting innovation in all areas of science and business and enabling scientific advances or new products.

In this sense, MACC will promote another edition of MUG, a discussion forum for all potential users on topics related to HPC in Portugal and Europe.

More specifically, this event aims to foster a collaborative environment among different stakeholders, promoting the adoption of advanced computing techniques and creating synergies with the operational team to better serve the scientific community.
