The 4th meeting of the Portuguese Network Operators Group (PTNOG)) took place on December 5th, at the facilities of the National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN).
Comprising 12 presentations, the meeting included contributions from several participants.

Optical Adapters, Forwarding Security, DNS, Automation and
Cooperation.
During the work, the manager of the communications service network area of the FCCN Unit, Pedro Lorga, gave an update on the Gigapix platform, describing the developments expected for 2020 and giving an account of the exceeding the 100Gbps threshold with regard to the observed peak traffic.
It is also worth highlighting the fact that the record number of participants was surpassed:
in total, they were present 45 representatives from 33 different organizations.
