Pilot project will allow the RCTS community to use the Colibri service to hold events with more than 300 participants.

The creation of a pilot project The idea of holding webinars through Colibri was included in the activity plan of the FCT's National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN Unit). Its implementation was expedited due to our community's demand for these types of event solutions, given the current pandemic situation. The project is now taking shape with the provision of a form where the Science, Technology, and Society Network (RCTS) community can submit requests for webinars.

THE form is available on the Colibri website and involves sharing information about the event, such as the expected number of participants and the date. This is because the webinar service is only available to the RCTS community and for events with more than 300 and up to 1,000 participants. Furthermore, only one webinar can be scheduled per day.

Access to the service is always subject to approval, which will be determined based on the number of available licenses and reservations already made. After approval, users are granted "Pro" and "Webinar" licenses for the platform on the scheduled date.

Visit the Colibri website for the order form.
