University of Minho from June 15 to 18, 2021 – MUG

The Minho Advanced Computing Center (MACC), the FUJITSU and the ARM are pleased to invite all interested parties to a MUG: MACC User Group Workshop, taking place in University of Minho of June 15-18, 2021, in model hybrid.

Deucalion is Portugal's new world-class EuroHPC green supercomputer, which will be installed at the MACC, the largest of Portugal's four advanced computing operational centers—coordinated by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). The machine will use ARM-based technology—the Fujitsu A64FX CPU currently used by Fugaku, currently the world's fastest supercomputer.

June 15, 16 and 17
Porting, optimizing, and debugging code to the new processor
AI / ML / DL on the new processor
Hands-on labs using the ARM-based Isambard supercomputer A64FX cluster provided by GW4 and the University of Bristol

June 18th
Inside the new MACC headquarters
Present your problem to MACC

Everyone is welcome to participate in this event where a lot of information about Deucalion and MACC will be shared. Registration is mandatory.
