EuroHPC JU has opened a new application opportunity for regular access to its state-of-the-art supercomputers. Deucalion is included in the list of available resources.
The fastest Portuguese supercomputer ever, which is managed by the Foundation for Science and Technology and currently supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), is among the available resources. This is joined by seven others, including MareNostrum 5, which also has Portuguese participation and the support of the PRR.
Projects that require time and large amounts of computing resources can apply and access one of these available high-performance computing solutions.
Who can apply?
Researchers from across Europe can apply to use computing resources to boost their research and innovation projects. This call is open to all fields of science, industry, and the public sector.
Proposals can be submitted through three different application channels:
- Scientific access: applications from academia and public research institutes;
- Access to the industrial sector: applications with principal investigators from the industrial sector;
- Access to Public Administration: applications with principal investigators from the public sector.
The projects in the competition are also expected to have a high impact on their application area, which should justify the need for large allocations in terms of computing time, data storage and support resources.
Proposals must be submitted by September 6th
Anyone who wants to enhance their research using world-class computing power, must submit their proposals by September 6, 2024.
