THE 3rd PUB IN Meeting: Journals and scientific communication for open science It already has a date set and will take place between the days April 16 and 17, 2026, in School of Nursing, University of CoimbraThe initiative is organized by FCCN, digital services of FCT, and by University of Minho.
The Meeting aims to be a space for training and discussion, focused on developing technical skills and showcasing emerging initiatives, projects, and best practices in scientific and academic publishing, bringing together the national publishing community.
The program will include a panel discussion of emerging themes in the field of open science, and the undertaking of workshops technicians and of sessions of flash talks for presentations and demonstrations of experience.
Registration and submission of proposals
THE proposal submission period starts December 2, 2025 and extends until February 20, 2026. As iparticipant registrations take place between the day January 5 to April 10, 2026.
THE PUB IN It is funded. by the Foundation for Science and Technology and developed by this organization and by University of Minho (UM). This initiative provides infrastructure (SARC and Scielo) for the publication of open access scientific periodicals.
