Applications: how to participate and selection criteria
Interested institutions must express their interest by May 29, 2026, by sending an email to info@rcaap.pt.
The application must include detailed information about the institution, namely its characterization, recent scientific production, Open Access policy, as well as data on the existing institutional repository, the human resources involved in its management and the identification of the person responsible for the process.
To be considered eligible, Applications must meet certain criteria. like the existence of a minimum of 3000 documents available for deposit, at least 200 documents filed in the last 12 months and Integration into the RCAAP Portal.

Results and integration
From this process, two institutions will be selected to become part of the SARI service. Selected institutions will also be integrated into INDEXAR – Directory of Digital Knowledge Resources and the RCAAP Portal..
